Science Camp 23-27th July 2018

Cool Science Summer Camp 23-27 July 2018

After the huge success of our Cool Science Workshops in 2017 we have put together a summer camp/combined day care over 5 days in Darlington during the summer of 2018.

Each day will be themed around a topic such as Slime, Rockets, Chemical Reactions, Water Science, Explosions, environment and much much more.

Our venue Elm Ridge Community Hall is a prefect place to hold such an event. Aside from its secure gated complex we have a huge outside area which will enable us to play, relax and of course discover the science behind our environment.

The idea is that we combine day care 0830-1530 with science related workshops throughout the day. We have a large team in place of not only scientists but fully registered childminders and teachers from local schools and colleges.

The cost per day is £50 per child. This includes lunch although packed lunches may be brought along. The cost for the entire week is £200

The minimum age is 6 years old with no exceptions. Older children will be given further responsibility during the day becoming team leaders and science assistants.

Day 1 – Water & Bubble science

Day 2 – Slime & Potions

Day 3 – Chemical Reactions & Rockets

Day 4 – Environment, Weather & Explosions

Day 5 – Energy, Electricity & Spectacular visual science

*Subject to change as some experiments will be held outside and need good weather*
